Client Single Login Feature

Hi,

I have this problem using Notes 901 Social Edition on Win 8.x and Win10.

I installed Notes Client on desktop computer attached with a Windows domain.  I checked the "Client Single Login Feature" option during installation.  I launched the Notes client, configure Next, Next, Next and everything works fine.  Reboot the PC and the "Client Single Login Feature" works fine, I don't have to type the password.

Attached with the same LAN, I performed the same installation on a laptop computer but NOT attached with the Windows domain; like a stand alone computer; my login is not with AD server but from Microsoft using Outlook.com email address.  I launched the Notes client, configure Next, Next, Next, reboot the laptop and the "Client Single Login Feature" doesn't works; the services is installed and running but I have to type the password.  I installed Notes 901 FP4, same problem.

My understanding is the fact the one is attached with the domain and the other not; the shared login seems to have problem if the credentials are from Microsoft Outlook.com login.

I tested suggestion in this forum without positive result.

Any suggestion to fix my problem?

Thanks!

If I uninstall the "Notes single login" service, the option "Share OS password" is not available.

IBM has not done any testing or work on enabling 64Bit SSO functionality,

although I've never had an issue with Windows 7 64Bit and SSO

I have found users that got a new Windows 10 Machine have no issues with SSO,

but on mine I upgraded from Win7 to Win 10 SSO does not work.

Hopefully they will plan on fixing.

Try doing an uninstall and reinstall on the Notes client on the upgraded Windows 10 pc.
